1. Preparation: Accessories
Note:
- We advise to use 1.5mm² CT connection line.
- CAN communication wire between inverters and the wire between inverter and datalogger, you are advised to use a DJYP2VP2-22 2x2x1 PC cable or a communications cable with a conductor cross-sectional area of 1 mm².
- CT Rated current ratio: XXX/5A. Accuracy requirement: 0.5%.
- Due to the different diameters of the access power bus, it’s recommended to purchase CT locally.

The CT is installed on the L wire of the access power bus.

Connect the RS485 cable to the Com2 port of the inverter as shown in the figure below and tighten the waterproof nut and the communication interface cover.
3.1 Settings: Datalogger Configuration
The datalogger is connected with laptop directly.
3.2 Settings
Step 1: Change computer network adapter settings. (With a network cable, connect the laptop and the datalogger)
- Open network & internet settings.
- Click ‘Ethernet’ in the network & internet list.
- Double click ethernet icon.
- Find IP settings and click ‘Edit’.
- Choose ‘Manual’ on the Edit IP setting page and open IPv4 edit button.
- Finally, enter the information as shown.
3.3 Settings: Configuration Datalogger on the Sunways Website
- Open the browser, enter URL 10.10.100.254
- Fill in the account ‘admin’ and the default password ‘admin12’.
All datalogger information is shown on overview page.
Step 2: Configure the datalogger WIFI

Search for the WIFI name “ WIFI-AP********”, which released by the datalogger and connect to the hotspot.

Open the URL 10.10.100.254, and input username and password “admin”.

Click “STA Setting”, then click “Scan”, you can find the router WIFI signal.
(Note: Only support 2.412GHZ-2.484GHZ router)

Finally, input the password in the blank and click “Save”. If the WIFI connection is successful, the indicator on the datalogger will be always on.
